Dress code is required for ALL students. Students not adhering to the Dress Code Policy may be asked to sit and watch the class.
Ballet: Black leotard, pink tights, pink leather ballet shoes. Skirts, ballet shorts, and leg warmers/knitwear are optional. No baggie shirts, sweatpants, or non-ballet shorts. Intermediate and Advanced dancers please wear split-sole ballet shoes. Hair MUST be pulled away from your face in a well-secured bun. Bangs must be pulled out of your face.
Jazz & Jazz/Hip-Hop: Black jazz pants or dance shorts with tights underneath, fitted dance t-shirt, tank, or leotard. Soft black SLIP ON jazz shoes (Bloch Brand). Hair MUST be off of your face.
Pre-Pointe & Pointe: Black leotard, pink tights, pink leather split sole ballet shoes or pointe shoes. Skirts, ballet shorts, and leg warmers/knitwear are optional. No baggie shirts, sweatpants, or non-ballet shorts. Hair MUST be pulled away from your face in a tight ponytail or well-secured bun (teacher discretion). Bangs must be pulled out of your face.
Lyrical, Modern, Contemporary, Style & Technique: Dance shorts with tights underneath, fitted dance t-shirt, tank, or leotard. Dancers should wear nude paws on their feet. Please bring your jazz shoes with you to class as well. Hair MUST be off of your face.
Pre-School & Kinder Ballet: Pink leotard, pink tights, pink leather ballet shoes. Skirts and tutus are optional. Hair MUST be pulled away from your face in a tight ponytail or well-secured bun (teacher discretion). Black patent leather tap shoes are required for tap combo classes.
Pre-School & Kinder Jazz/Hip-Hop: Black jazz pants, fitted dance t-shirt, tank, or leotard. Soft black slip-on jazz shoe (Bloch Brand). Hair MUST be off your face.
Tap: Black jazz pants or dance shorts with tights underneath, fitted dance t-shirt, tank, or leotard. Tap ages 7-10 should wear black patent leather tap shoes. Teen tap should wear black techno-tap 2T shoes (Bloch Brand – MaryJane style).
Hip-Hop: Black jazz pants or dance shorts with tights underneath, fitted dance t-shirt, tank, or leotard. Black jazz dance sneakers (Capezio brand, Rock It style). Hair MUST be off of your face.
*Please note, Dancexcel dancers are not permitted to wear any other studio’s name apparel inside the Dancexcel studio. |

Tuition payments are taken via automatic payment through your choice of checking account, Visa or Master Card deduction on the first business day of each month. If you choose to pay the full year up front , you may pay via cash, check, visa or master card and receive a 5% discount off the yearly fee. Tuition is an averaged amount each month. It does not fluctuate depending on the number of classes in per month. It is based off a yearly rate and then split into TEN even monthly payments (Sept. – June) for your convenience. Students missing class are invited to make up the class in another appropriate dance class within one month of the absence. No refunds or adjustments will be made.
**There will be a non-refundable $20 registration fee or $35 for families at the time of fall registration.**
**Tuition and class discounts are based on the individual dancer, not families.**
